Lassen County Chamber of Commerce presents their Annual Gala on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Veterans Memorial Hall from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. We are excited to announce that the chamber’s Gala Committee has been hard at work putting together an event to remember. The Gala is a catered event at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall across from the high school. VFW, Veterans of Foreign Wars William Davidson Post 2381 presents Saturday Breakfast. April Through December from 0800 hours to 1100 hours at the Veterans Memorial Hall. In our community, Lassen Community College presents a unique opportunity to engage in various enriching discussions with their free lunchtime lecture series. The series takes place every Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lassen Library District conference room on Main Street. These weekly, hour-long sessions delve into diverse topics ranging from practical skills such as writing effective professional emails and starting a small business, to crowd-pleaser topics including beekeeping and the mysterious world of spiders. They even cover critical issues like managing financial worries and cyber-awareness skills for the whole family.
