Craig Hemphill, Lassen County Ag Commissioner, and Cheryl Lauritsen will be greatly missed following their retirement. Craig managed his department with precision, akin to a Swiss watch, and Cheryl was an invaluable support as his right hand. Both retirees were honored with a Proclamation from Senator Megan Dahle, recognizing their years of hard work and dedication to Lassen County and its residents. The event attracted around 150 attendees from California and Nevada, celebrating their remarkable contributions.
Mr. Gary Fensler will replace Craig Hemphill as the new Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights and Measures for Lassen County.
