The Lassen County Chapter of the Association of California
School Administrators (ACSA) proudly recognized its 2025 Students of the Year at a special
luncheon and awards ceremony held this month. The event honored exceptional students from
schools across the county for their inspiring stories of perseverance, leadership, and
achievement.
The purpose of this award is to honor students at all grade levels (pre-K to high school) who
have succeeded against all odds, exceeded expectations, or simply won the hearts of the
administrators and educators who supported them. Each honoree was chosen by school staff for
their unique impact on their campus community.
This year’s ACSA Student of the Year honorees included:
• Jade Huffman – Diamond View School
• Elaina Strand – Fletcher Walker Elementary
• Natalie Rickert – Westwood Jr/Sr High
• Ryder Kelly – Sierra Primary
• Danica Delsman – Fort Sage Middle
• Serenity Hulsey – Herlong High
• Drew Esparza – Lassen County Office of Education

• Kamdyn Snyder – Johnstonville School
• Taryn Thresher (not pictured) – Shaffer School
• Audrey Rivera – Janesville School
• Ethan Stephenson – Meadow View School
• Tucker Bailey – Lassen High School
• Alyssa Heard – Richmond Elementary
The luncheon served as a heartfelt celebration of the strength, growth, and determination
demonstrated by these students. Educators, administrators, and families gathered to share in their
success and recognize the positive influence these students bring to their schools and peers.
The ACSA Student of the Year Awards stand as a testament to the power of education, support,
and resilience in shaping bright futures across Lassen County.
Congratulations to all of our 2025 recipients!
