The Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce announces an upcoming town hall meeting Monday, Sept. 22, at 5:15 p.m. The event will feature a presentation by Seneca Healthcare District on health care developments and the new hospital construction project.
A panel of local leaders from law enforcement, fire protection, public utilities and local government will take questions from the public. Those interested can submit questions for the panel at https://www.lakealmanorarea.com/chambertownhall. The deadline for submission of questions is noon the day of the meeting.
The chamber provides town hall meetings on the fourth Monday of each month as an opportunity for the community to come together in one location to engage with the latest happenings in the area. Leadership panels allow members of the public to receive updates and answers to their questions directly from those in leadership positions, fostering a sense of connectivity and collaboration within the community, say organizers.
Meetings are held at the Mt. Lassen Theatre, 200 Main St. in Chester. They can also be viewed online.
