The Lassen Library Family Literacy Program invites children and families to participate in its annual “Letters to Santa” event starting next week. Letters to Santa will be accepted from November 18 through December 16 during regular library hours. Families are encouraged to visit the library to help children write and submit their holiday wishes.
This long-running program is designed to inspire creativity, promote literacy, and spread holiday cheer throughout the community.
Additionally, the library will host a special visit from Santa and one of his elves on Saturday, December 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children will have the chance to take photos and receive a personalized letter from Santa himself.
The event is supported by the California State Library and the Lassen-Modoc Adult Education Consortium.
