As most students head into their final week of class, Janesville elementary may have an extra half-day after a special meeting of the board today. Interim Principal Jacob George was notified by the state on June 2nd that one missed day in the month of October did not qualify for an exemption and must be made up to complete the school year. The district’s board will meet this morning at 7:45 at the school staff lounge to discuss the extension of the academic calendar.
