It’s Flu Season – Lassen Public Health Holds Vaccine Drive-Thru Clinic

Lassen County Public Health says flu season is here and typically runs through early spring. Director of
Health and Social Services Barbara Longo says the CDC has tracked and monitored the 4 most viral strains of the flu this season and is predicting a severe bout of the virus. This year public health is providing the community
with their 12th annual drive-through clinic for the vaccine at the fairgrounds on October 5th and added this year is a first responders-only clinic held on October 3rd at the Public Health Department. You can learn more by visiting
