Input Sought in Reforestation Project Benefitting Dixie Fire Affected Communities in Plumas County

You have three opportunities to voice your input on the North Fork Forest Recovery Project.

Plumas National Forest’s North Fork Forest Recovery Project will be covering a 166,000-acre forest restoration project for communities that were severely impacted by the Dixie Fire in 2021.

The program will start June 21st at the Historic Taylorsville Hall for Taylorsville, North Arm, and the Genessee communities starting at 5:30 p.m. The second meeting at the Greenville Elementary School at 5:30 p.m. will focus on areas in the Greenville and Cresent Mills Community. The third meeting will be held July 19th at 5:30 p.m. at Greenville Elementary School for the communities of Indian Falls, Seneca, Belden, Twain, Paxton, Canyon Dam, and other surrounding Canyon areas.
