The Susanville School district is increasing surveillance of their campuses. Students have been participating in the latest social media trend called devious licks. The trend has students licking or stealing objects from the school or their teachers. Already the district has seen several instances of these occurrences and will be moving forward with possible suspensions, felony charges, loss of extracurricular privileges, or reimbursing the schools for the damaged or lost property. The school district is asking that all stolen property be returned to the school office by Monday the 4th by 4pm to avoid disciplinary actions and urges you to talk with your child about the consequences.
