The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is asking for community support to come out and help clean up Main street through Susanville. This weekend the chamber will be working towards the completion of Phase two of the Hometown Pride clean-up efforts. You can meet Saturday the 18th at the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce at 10 am. Though you can sign up prior to clean-up day by visiting the chamber’s website, Lassencountychamber.org. Kelly Ackley Chamber Executive Director has shared there is no age limit but be mindful that you will be cleaning up the sidewalks along both sides of Main Street, to bring extra tools to help pull weeds, and have plenty of water. Grocery Outlet will be providing a hot dog lunch the day of as well. The goal in this phase is to work from Weatherlow down to Alexander. This stretch is longer than phase one cleaned the sidewalks of uptown down to Weatherlow and more volunteers are needed as work is cut out for them.
