Thursday afternoon, Susanville Fire responded to a home fire on N. Mes.a. The blaze forced the roadway to be closed for several hours for emergency response teams as crews worked to knock down the flames. The blaze was first reported around 2 p.m.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that two homes were damaged in the fire. It is unknown if the fire caused injuries. Susanville Fire has yet to release further details.
