Domestic fight on 395 Leads to two Arrests. Susanville CHP got calls of a man hitting a woman on the shoulder of 395 just north of Doyle. When officers arrived only the male driver was with the car, the woman was picked-up by a passersby who saw the abuse and offered to help. Officers concluded a domestic violence incident had occurred between the two and it was also found that the man had been driving drunk prior to stopping along the shoulder. The man was also found to have significant injuries to his face. After officers talked to the couple individually and witnesses, the woman was arrested for Felony domestic violence and the man was arrested for DUI and Misdemeanor domestic violence.
