Work on the Devil’s Corral Safety Project on State Route 36 will resume Wednesday, June 10.

Expect one-way traffic control in the work zone with delays up to 15 minutes from Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Delays could reach 25 minutes when construction requires travel over unpaved surfaces.

The $16.7 million project aims to improve safety by widening shoulders, upgrading culverts, relocating utilities, adding rumble strips, and clearing vegetation to increase solar exposure along the highway.

Construction is scheduled to finish by the end of September.

Plan extra travel time, reduce your speed, and watch for crews and equipment in the area. How will you adjust your commute to stay safe during this project?
