Lassen Union High School is seeking community input as they embark on the search for their next Superintendent. Following Superintendent Morgan Nugent’s announcement of transitioning to a new role at Fall River Mills after the current school year, Lassen Union High is reaching out for your help in shaping the future leadership of the school.

To gather insights, the school has launched an online survey open to all staff, parents, and community members. The survey aims to identify the values, skills, and qualities desired in the next Superintendent. Participants are asked to reflect on three positive practices at LUHSD that stand out to them, as well as to outline essential qualities and skills for a successful superintendent. Additionally, respondents are encouraged to pinpoint three areas where LUHSD could improve. The survey allows for anonymous feedback and includes space for additional comments.

Your input is valuable and will help guide the selection process. The survey will remain open until May 17, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. You can access it through the High School’s social media channels or website.
