Dedicated to maintaining a secure campus environment, Feather River College will be conducting a test of its emergency alert system today.
The College employs the Regroup Emergency Notification System, where in the event of an emergency, such as inclement weather leading to a late start, the college can swiftly communicate the important information through text, phone calls, and emails.
At 12:20 p.m. today, a push notification will be sent out to test the Regroup system. It is important to note that this is solely a test and not an actual emergency.
If you are a current staff member or an enrolled student, you are already automatically enrolled in the Regroup system and will receive notifications accordingly.
For those who may not be enrolled in Regroup, or if you are a family member who wishes to receive these alerts, you can sign up by visiting the safety page on the FRC website.
Today’s emergency alert again is only a test and will occur at 12:20 p.m.
