Susanville also takes the final step on allowing commercial cannabis within the city. The city council is set to vote on the ordinance at this Wednesday city council meeting. City administrator Dan Newton read and introduced the amended ordinance to the community during the council’s prior meeting on April 20th. If approved at the May 4th council meeting there would be a 30day grace period before commercial cannabis businesses could begin to apply to bring their dispensary, manufacturing, distribution or testing facility within the city limits. The council opens to the community for your attendance at 5pm on the 4th at city hall.
