Feather River Flowing Strong Along State Route 70!
Check out this impressive video, taken by Pulga Maintenance Supervisor Matt Martin, showing the Feather River along State Route 70, surging with all the recent rain we’ve received! While it’s a beautiful sight, it’s also a great reminder to stay safe on the roads during wet weather.
Remember:
- Turn Around, Don’t Drown: Never drive through flooded roadways! Just 12 inches of water can carry away a small car, and two feet can sweep away most vehicles, including trucks and SUVs.

- Drive Cautiously: Slow down on wet roads, increase your following distance, and always use your headlights when visibility is low.
