Feather River College recently received an eight-year reaffirmation of accreditation from the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). The purpose of this important accreditation process was to determine whether FRC continues to meet ACCJC’s eligibility requirements, commission policies, and accreditation standards. Upon consideration, the Commission acted to reaffirm accreditation for eight more years.
In addition to the reaffirmation of accreditation, FRC also received a commendation from the Commission for a robust Student Employment Program. FRC is proud to host such a successful Student Employment program, that is now being formally recognized. It allows students to gain meaningful work experience within their program of study, build transferable skills, and earn a paycheck as they work toward their educational and career goals.
