Reckless driving on US 395 in Milford leaves one dead over the weekend. Around 9 pm on Saturday, Susanville CHP received reports of a Nissan driving erratically on its way into Milford. Immediately as officers were en route, reports of a collision at the Milford Grade involving the Nissan and a Tesla came in. The driver of the Nissan had crossed into the Northbound lane and struck the Tesla head-on. CHP arrived to multiple significant injuries. The driver of the Nissan, whose identity has not been given, died upon collision, and the driver and passenger of the Tesla from Fremont CA were flown to Renown for care.
