US 395 claims another life of a motorcyclist. On Friday, July 15th around 9pm the Susanville CHP responded to an unresponsive male on S. Constantia rd. just a mile off of the highway. The responding CHP officer located the man, Jerry Curtis Bay, age 62 of Doyle, laying on the ground near his Honda motorcycle that had apparently been in a major collision. Bay was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lassen County sheriffs. Doyle Fire Department and LC deputies assisted with the collision that remains under investigation.
