EPHC Patient Appreciation

National Patient Appreciation Week is celebrated annually from February 1-7th, and throughout this past week the various departments at Eastern Plumas Health Care (EPHC) have been expressing their gratitude through a series a video messages on their social media channels and website.

The heartfelt messages are all part of an initative to raise awareness about the importance of patient perspectives, engagement, and advocacy in the development and delivery of healthcare solutions. The messages are directed to their patients, residents, and the community of Plumas County for allowing them to be part of their health care journey.

To ensure high quality care, EPHC provides patients with the ability to share their experiences with Patient Experience, a program managed by Shawna Leal. The valuable input is then shared with the departments to help improve services and evaluate performance.

For Eastern Plumas Health Care, Patient Appreciation Week goes beyond a one-week event; it aims to create a lasting impact on their culture and practices. As a partner in health and wellness, EPHC strives to develop innovative solutions that truly meet the needs of their patients, improving their quality of life and overall healthcare experience.
