Drivers ignore Road Closed signs over the weekend near Four Trees and find themselves stuck in the mud. Plumas Search and Rescue had to respond to two incidents of stuck vehicles this Sunday. The team located both vehicles with three adults and two children. Both drivers out of the Oroville area admitted to Plumas SAR that they drove past numerous ROAD CLOSED signs, ignoring their warning. The team reminds visitors that the road signs are in place for a reason, asking visitors to “Please use common sense when traveling on mountain roads until they are all open for the public to use.”
