Situation:
The Dixie Fire burned actively overnight, moving to the East and North.
Firefighting air and ground resources will continue to work together to
construct direct line to secure the fire perimeter. Firefighters continue to
construct contingency lines to provide structure defense in communities at
risk. The fire is burning in remote areas with limited access, and steep
terrain. A portion of SR 70 is closed to all traffic.

Recreational area of Plumas County east of the Butte/Plumas County Line
• Plumas/Butte County Line east to Twain:
Includes both sides of Hwy 70 in the areas of Rock Creek, Storrie, Tobin,
Belden, Caribou Rich Bar, and Twain.
• Meadow Valley & Bucks Lake:
Bucks Lake Rd. at Snake Lake Rd. west to the Plumas/Butte County Line,
including the area of Tollgate
Butte County:
The communities of Jonesville and Philbrook areas. Please refer to the Public
