The race between Tom Traphagena and Jason Ingram for the Lassen County District 5 Supervisors widens. With Wednesday’s updated result counts, Ingram pulls further ahead, widening the gap between the two highly contested candidates by nearly 50 votes.
Over 60 % of the county turned out to vote, with only a few days remaining until the results are finalized. Jason Ingram looks to be the victor and will join Tom Neely, elected District 3 Supervisor, defeating Incumbent Jeff Hemphill in June, as the new supervisor on the board come January 3rd.
