As election day nears, Plumas County will additionally have to vote for a seat in the House.
The redistricting following the 2020 census has created a newly formed District 3 that encompasses Plumas and Sierra Counties. Tomorrow you will have the opportunity to listen in to a debate between the two candidates fighting for the seat. Those candidates are Democrat Kermit Jones, a doctor from Roseville, and Republican Kevin Kiley, a member of the state Assembly now representing El Dorado, Placer, and Sacramento counties.
The debate will be held on KCRA 3 and moderated by channel 3 anchor Edie Lambert and CapRadio state politics reporter Nicole Nixon. The debate will air live at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th on KCRA 3 and stream on KCRA.com. or you can tune in to the broadcast on Quincy’s KQNC 88.1.
