The Almanor Basin Food Pantry reports that the first community supper of the season will be held tomorrow, Nov. 20, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Chester Veteran Memorial Hall on Gay Street.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for all local residents to come together and share in a festive Thanksgiving feast,” said coordinator Carol Franchetti.
The meal is free; donations are appreciated. Each meal is sponsored by a local business or group, and the schedule of upcoming meals and sponsors is available at http://www.almanorbasinfoodpantry.org.
