Lassen’s Fire Safe Council will host a meeting on an upcoming large-scale timber removal and fuels management operation along the Eastside of the Plumas National Forest.
Along with representatives from the Plumas Forest Service, the community protection-Eastside Project details will be discussed to inform the communities impacted how they will benefit from its operations by reducing the effects of wildfire. The Fire Safe Council was awarded over a million dollars towards the project that spans 57,000 acres of National Forest lands in Lassen County.
