Please be on the lookout for Lassen Humane Society donation boxes that were stolen from Grocery Outlet last week.
The individual in the attached photo is a person of interest in the theft. This man posed as a Humane Society representative in order to take the donation boxes. We have already filed a police report, but any information from the community regarding the return of our boxes or the prosecution of this individual would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the Police Department with any information at 530-257-5603, and share this message on Facebook.
We are including a photo of our donation boxes for reference, although these are not the actual boxes that were stolen.
For businesses that support us with donation boxes, we urge you to be extra vigilant as this individual may target other locations.
Additionally, there is a $500 reward for the return of all five boxes or if information provided leads to the conviction of the person involved.
