Indian Valley veterinarian Doyle Rolston will be honored July 21 at the Indian Valley Community Supper, held at 5 p.m. at the Taylorsville Historic Hall in Taylorsville.
The community will show its appreciation to Rolston, who has cared for local household pets and ranch animals for decades, reports the Indian Valley Recreation and Parks District, the event’s sponsor. They urge everyone to bring a photo of their animal to put on a bulletin board, and a story to share about an experience with Rolston, of Indian Creek Veterinary Clinic.
All proceeds will be donated to a fund providing financial support for individuals unable to afford treatment for their pet or animal.
Menu for the supper includes hamburgers and hot dogs, with side dishes of baked beans, potato, macaroni, and green salads. As always, there will be plenty of dessert, the IVRPD reports.
The July 21 Indian Valley Community Supper is hosted by the Taylorsville Ladies Aide Society. Funding for the food is donated by Pacific Gas and Electric Co.
