Susanville Public Works has been working hard to help restore the roads due to the extensive snowmelts and Rainfall, with some future prevention work.
Public Works worked on the corner of Numa and Shadow Mountain Road, where residents have incurred hazards from potholes. Due to the weather, the street suffered from some areas being washed out and potholes created. Susanville Public Works installed a concrete swale on the corner to help with the flow of water to run-off to help prevent future potholes from occurring.
Public works will address other areas that have received road damage due to the snowpack and rainstorms.
