City of Susanville Seeks Bids for the Memorial Park Bathroom Replacement Project

Sealed bids will be accepted at City Hall for the groundwork of the new bathrooms, approved by the city council in February.

The project aims to dismantle the existing metal structure, remove concrete sidewalks, install underground utilities, and prepare the building pad to place a pre-cast bathroom building provided by the city.

Bidders are expected to submit proposals to the City Clerk’s office by 2:00 P.M. on August 3rd. A pre-bid meeting and site inspection will be held at Susanville City Hall on July 26 at 10:00 AM. The prefabricated restroom facilities have been awarded to the same provider who created the bathroom facility at Fruitgrowers Park. Set to include a timed electric lock system, anti-graffiti coating, and exterior-mounted ADA drinking fountain. The new restroom facility will have two bathrooms – one for men and one for women, with modern amenities.

The will be no cost to the city as a Community Block Development Grant will fund the project.
