The City of Portola invites you to join the Community Cleanup Event on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., starting at City Park on South Gulling Street, across from City Hall.
Groups will organize to clean rubbish from selected areas around the city. The city will provide gloves, hi-visibility vests, and rubbish pickers. You should wear suitable clothing and may bring your own tools if you prefer.
This event supports the city’s effort to earn the “Clean California Community” designation from the State of California. It follows two cleanup events held last year, with two more planned this year.
Participating offers a chance to take pride in your community and meet neighbors who care about Portola’s environment. Some participants will receive prizes as a thank-you for their efforts.
