The Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce announces that the Chester Park Skate Rink is celebrating its fourth year of fostering joy and connection among families and friends in the Lake Almanor Basin. The rink is open from 4 to 8 p.m. Fridays, and noon to 4 p.m. both Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $5.
Every Saturday, the chamber will host craft sessions at the skate rink. This Saturday’s session is set for 2 p.m. Dec. 13, and offers participants a chance to make ornaments for the ice rink’s frozen forest. “Whether you’re a local or just visiting, come on down, roll up your sleeves and let’s make some magic together while connecting with awesome folks in the community,” said organizers.
