As part of our innovative Career Exploration Initiative, Seneca Healthcare District recently gave students from Chester High School the opportunity to experience the world of healthcare from the inside out — and one talented student is now about to hear her own voice on the radio.
During the program’s Administration rotation, students explored the role of Marketing in healthcare and were challenged to write a radio advertisement promoting Seneca Healthcare District, which includes the Lake Almanor Clinic and Seneca Hospital. After reviewing all submissions, one winning script stood out — written by Aryanna Boatright, Chester High School student with a strong voice and creative spark.
This week, Aryanna visited KJDX Radio Station in Susanville, CA to professionally record her ad. She was guided through the process by Ruth, a station team member who generously volunteered her time and expertise. Ruth worked side-by-side with the student, offering insight into voice recording, editing, and splicing techniques.
