Former CDCR officer Richard Bianchi, Jr. will be memorialized with a dedication of the HWY 36 corridor East of Susanville, just as you are entering into the City. Bianchi was in an accident two years ago on an inmate hospital transportation to Redding where he died of his injuries. Assemblywoman Megan Dahle made the effort to dedicate the portion of the highway in honor of the lifelong Lassen county resident and High desert state prison officer for his 10 years of service. Dahle’s bill passed the legislature just last year. Both Lassen county legislature representatives, Assemblywoman Megan Dahle and her husband, Senator Brian Dahle will be in Susanville to honor Bianchi in a dedication ceremony that will take place this Monday May 2nd at 1pm.
