This Wednesday, you’ll have another opportunity to discuss the proposed roundabout at the intersection of A13 and SR 36. Caltrans is inviting you to join the discussion from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Almanor Recreation Center, in, Chester.
Caltrans says the roundabout includes removing the existing asphalt, trenching cuts of 8-10 ft, placing asphalt concrete structural sections in the roadway, and adding concrete curbing for the roundabout. The safety project will also increase lighting leading into the roundabout, and install new signage.
The project is expected to last about 3 months; Construction is anticipated to start in fall/winter of 2023.
