The 9th U.S. circuit court of appeals granted the stay request following Oakland Judge Tigar’s September court order that prison workers must be vaccinated or have a religious or medical exemption by the new year. Opening briefs will be heard December 13th and the appeal hearing will be scheduled for March of next year.
