CalFire’s Lassen Modoc Unit says Prescribed burns continue to be successful on the Hamilton Branch Fuels Reduction Project.
Crews with the Antelope Conservative Camp continue to make progress as Weather conditions remain favorable for the planned pile burning. Burns are taking place on Sierra Pacific Industries land as part of a larger fuel break project providing additional protection from wildfire to the communities of Hamilton Branch, Westwood, and Clear Creek. If you are in these areas or traveling along Highway 147, you will see smoke, you are asked not to report it.
