After six years in the making Buck’s lake will be permanently protected with the help of PG&E and the Pacific Forest and Watershed Lands Stewardship Council. Through a conservation easement held by the Feather River Land Trust all 2,164 acres of lands, waters, and the lake along with 300 acres of forest, meadows, wetlands, and creek side habitats will forever be accessible to the public while protecting wildlife, and the open lands for current and future generations. PG&E will continue to manage and own Bucks Lake as well as the recreation facilities and leases.
