Set to break their own record, Susanville locals Tim Trevitt and his grandson Mason are back at it again. This weekend, their mission is to raise funds and awareness for the non-profit organization Hope Wheels, which emerged from their journey to secure the world record title for the most Hot Wheels loop-the-loops and bring joy to hospitalized children.
Their first attempt over the previous loop-the-loop record took place during last year’s Rails to Trails Festival, with the help from the Susanville Fire Department and their 100ft ladder truck. Although the initial video footage didn’t meet the Guinness Book of World Records criteria, they didn’t give up. Through another attempt, they managed to clinch the record.
You can Witness thier next attempt at thier own record and show your support for this family duo’s endeavor to set an all-new Hot Wheels world record by visiting the T-Mobile parking lot on Saturday starting at 10 am.
