An Ag Pass Program has been set in place to allow ranchers to check on the wellbeing of commercial livestock in the evacuation zones. Ranchers who oversee over 50 head of livestock will be permitted to access their farm or ranch during the Dixie fire only to check on the health of their livestock. Ranchers are asked to enter at their own risk. All other domestic pet well being concerns can be directed to Plumas county Animal Services as 530-283-3673.
