An Ag Pass Program has been set in place to allow ranchers to check on the wellbeing of commercial livestock in the evacuation zones. Ranchers who oversee over 50 head of livestock will be permitted to access their farm or ranch during the Dixie fire only to check on the health of their livestock. Ranchers are asked to enter at their own risk. If you meet the qualifications and would like to apply you can contact the UC Cooperative Extensive, Tracy Schohr at [email protected] or 916-716-2643 or comminssioner Willo Vieira at [email protected]. All other domestic pet well being concerns can be directed to Plumas county Animal Services as 530-283-3673.
