Who Can Apply?
A current unencumbered California Licensed Vocational Nurse with a California State Blood Withdrawal and Intravenous Therapy Certification
Entry Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
TEAS exam with minimum composite score of 62% (completed within past 3 years)
Register for TEAS at LCC: https://www.atitesting.com/teas/register/
Academic Requirements:
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher in all college coursework
Grade of C or better in all prerequisite courses
Required Prerequisites (must be completed before semester prior to start date):
BIOL 20 Microbiology with Lab
BIOL 21 Human Anatomy with Lab
BIOL 22 Human Physiology with Lab
ENGL 1 College Composition
MATH 40 Elementary Statistics
Co-requisites:
SOC 1 Introduction to Sociology
SPCH 1 Public Speaking
One course from Area C
PSY 18 Lifespan Development
ES-1 Introduction to Ethnic Studies
All advanced placement students must successfully complete a transition course during the second semester of their intended cohort
