Nearly 300 Plumas County people have responded to the Plumas Board of Supervisor’s survey on how federal COVID recovery funds should be spent. The county has been allotted 3.6 million dollars. The funds come from President Biden’s American Rescue Plan Act aimed to address public health and economic impacts caused by the pandemic. The people of Plumas placed the highest priority on expanding broadband services, supporting local businesses and expanding the county’s mental health services. The board has been in discussion on those expenditures.
