New roadway construction will be impacting your travel on HWY 139 starting tomorrow. This work will coincide with the Antelope drapery project near antelope mountain. Hat Creek construction and Caltrans begin the slate creek 3-layer project. You will have to add up to 15 minutes to your drive Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Crews will replace the asphalt surfacing with additional shoulder backing, upgrade guardrail, and striping. Work will start 4 miles north of s. Grasshopper rd. Work is expected to be completed by October.
