The state will certify the results by April 12th. The counting isn’t done for election offices across that state; here’s what you can expect for local offices as ballots arrive.

Lassen’s Elections Office says a large influx of ballots were dropped off late on election day, with the precincts farther away arriving well into the night. Last-minute drop-offs number into the thousands. Staff says roughly another 1500 ballots remain.
Signature verifications are continuing with canvassing, which began today. Updated results are expected to be released daily over the next week. Results as of this morning are as current as 10:55 on Tuesday evening.

In Plumas County, another results update is expected on the 14th. The Quincy Elections office says about 500 ballots are waiting within the courthouse, and as of yesterday, 500 more are expected to arrive.

Several contested offices remain close, including Plumas Superior Court Judge, Measure A, the ¾ of a percent sales tax increase to fund the Sheriff’s Office, and potentially the three Susanville City Council Seats.
