The Monticola Club Spring Yard Sale is coming this Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2. Friday hours are 10-4 and Saturday 9-3 at the Monticola Club House, 140 S. Lassen Street. The treasures you can find range from purses to toaster ovens, planters, cookware, tools and linens, to a Sea Eagle inflatable, two person (or person and one dog) kayak. Some items new and still in the box.
You cannot only find something you did not even know you needed, but you are supporting your local Monticola Club and all
the community service projects they provide. Some of these projects include providing several scholarships for local students, city
beautification with daffodil plantings, food baskets, Christmas presents from the Angel Tree, and student nutrition support.
Not sure if you want to add the following: The Clubhouse is also available to rent for group gatherings. Call 530-257-9220 information. Monticola Club is a women’s volunteer community service organization dedicated to improving our community. Anyone is welcome to join. We gather monthly to enjoy lunch together, prepared by members and conduct our business meeting.
