Soroptimist International of Quincy announces it is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds for children up to age 8. The event will be held rain or shine.
Families can start the day beginning at 10 a.m. with an Easter Bunny photo opportunity, then move on to egg hunting. Egg hunting is timed by age group:
- Kids up to age 2 are released to hunt for eggs at 11 a.m.
- Ages 3 to 4 are released at 11:10 a.m.
- Ages 5 to 6 are released at 11:20 a.m.
- Ages 7 to 8 are released at 11:30 a.m.
Snacks will be available for purchase.
Soroptimist International of Quincy is part of a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
