WildBio Flourishing reports that full moon ski events are returning this winter to the Johnsville Historic Ski Bowl at Plumas-Eureka State Park. These events offer a unique evening experience that combines uphill skiing, snowshoeing, art and live music under the light of the full moon. The event is hosted by WildBio Flourishing and the Plumas Ski Club in partnership with Adventure Monkeys, Vibecraft Productions and California State Parks.
The first full moon ski event is scheduled for Jan. 31, with activities running from the afternoon into the evening. Daytime skiing and rope tow access will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather and conditions permitting. Music and race registration begin at 3 p.m. with music by Terpsichore, followed by an uphill skin race at approximately 4 p.m. Local favorites Nightbrain will play on the deck of the Intorf Lodge at 5 p.m., and then music moves inside with CoopDaLoop and Braidz with special guest Savage Cabbage. Evening programming continues until 11 p.m.
