Megan Moroney graced Good Morning America‘s stage on Friday to chat about her fast-rising career, and perform “Indifferent” and her new single, “Am I Okay?”
When asked why her music resonates with many, Megan attributed it to her openness to letting art imitate life.
“I think I just did what I’ve always done, which is write honest songs about my personal life. I didn’t overthink it and I think my fans are just the best in the world. I know that,” Megan says. “They’re so loyal and I think they just enjoy me becoming more vulnerable in my songs, and they’re just the best.”
Megan recently wrapped her time opening for Kenny Chesney on his Sun Goes Down Tour. Coming up, she’ll head across the pond for shows in the U.K., Denmark, Sweden, Norway and more. For more details, head to Megan’s website.
