If you want to make a last-minute Valentine’s Day treat, Little Big Town‘s Kimberly Schlapman is here to help you out — or more specifically, her daughters are.
“If you haven’t noticed, our mom’s not here, so we took over the kitchen,” 15-year-old Daisy says in a recent Instagram post. Her 6-year-old sister, Dolly, assists as they make strawberry cupcakes with strawberry/white chocolate icing.
“Do anyone else’s kiddos love to be in the kitchen!?” Kimberly asks in the accompanying text. “It’s a weekly thing in our house and it makes me so happy!”
You can check out the cooking demo if you’d like to recreate the cupcakes. And the finished product definitely meets with mom’s approval: “Got to have one and they were so yummy and made the perfect treat for Daisy’s dance team!” she added.
